Welcome to our Denver home!! So excited to share with you our recent makeover/collab with Joss & Main. The house was defintely a bachelor pad when I moved in (as it should be) but I really wanted to make it feel like MY home too. Ben was gracious enough to let me redecorate our space and put full trust in me! The home was built in 1910 and has a TON of character. Beautiful hardwood floors, crown molding, and solid plaster walls made this space easy to work with. I love old homes more than anything- they just don’t make em like they used to. Our home is a little on the small side.. At only 800 square feet I needed to brighten up the space and make it appear bigger than it actually is. To achieve this I chose light colored pieces, incorporated mirrors into the space, and made sure all furniture was narrow enough and not oversized. The size alone presented its own set of challenges but we made it work and I’m beyond obsessed!
I love to pair new, modern pieces like our amazingly bold light fixture in the living area with rustic, reclaimed wood and textured fabrics. My favorite piece in the home is the chandelier. Right when you walk in the door that’s the first thing you see and that’s exactly how I wanted it to be. Behind the chandelier hangs beautiful art by the very talented Katherine Freeman. Her handprinted watercolors soften and brighten the space. Grey walls, light and airy fabrics, succulents and bolder light fixtures remind me of my old place on the California coast. I guess there is a little Cali girl still in me. You can shop all my picks here!
You have great style, Lauren!! I love everything about the home! 💖💖💖
Lauren It’s beautiful like you
These are my honest feelings, sorry if I offend anyone. Although the decor is pretty, it’s generic. Looks like everything was bought from one store on the Internet. I’ve seen many homes with this same look.
Who cares if everything was brought from one store or from the Internet. R u serious? Her home is so beautiful I’m so obsessed!
I agree who cares where you bought the articles, you achieved your goal. It is light and airy, inviting, rusitc but classy just like you. So be proud you have done a beautiful job.
Obviously it was.its sponsored by joss & main
I love your style! I am so glad you got a different head board from the one garage door!!

How did Ben handle the replacement of his “poop brown” garage door headboard? 😉
But seriously, everything looks AMAZING!!!
Wow, well done!!!! I would love the same décor in my house one day. Thanks for sharing your lives with us. It’s not easy being in the media 24/7. You do it with such beauty and grace. Much love! – Kelly (huge fan :p )
Awwww. Looks lovely. Where did you put Ben’s headboard?
It looks like you talked Ben out of keeping his garage door headboard! lol 🙂 Loved your show last night!
I love what you’ve done! I’m so curious what you did with the bathroom. We just bought a house built in 1908 and the bathroom is the size of a postage stamp! So if you have any suggestions on how to make it feel bigger send them my way! Thank you!!
Very beautiful. Where is the mirror over the dresser from?
Lauren your decorating skills are so on point! Loving every piece in the house.

You are so cute! It makes me so happy seeing you living your life the way you want to live it! I know you do not have children yet but what color schemes would you describe as neutral for both boys and girls.
i’m so jealous of you 🙁 i wanna look

This style is so cute!!! You made the space so cute!
I am OBSESSED with the gold mirror piece in the 2nd picture. It looks like a beautiful metal sculpture. Could you please let me know your source for this ah mazing piece!!! Loving your blog!! Keep up the great work!!!
I think your style is adorable and very welcoming. My question is.. what about his style and the unique additions he had there?
Hi Lauren!
I along with my oldest brother are going to be redecorating the hall bath/guest bath that has NO WINDOWS! I want to get rid of the blue flowerie wallpaper and either put some sort of tile that would be light in color but blend with whatever tile we use in the bathtub shower. Do you have any other suggestions to help make it look bigger and keep it from being so dark? You have done a beautiful job transforming your new place. I too like older homes and the character they bring as well as all the cute little built ins. Being from the south there were a lot there. My brother and sister in law have an adorable older home built in the early 1930’s. I wish you could see it. They have friends who own older homes from the same time period that are priceless. If you have any suggestions on my small dark bath room please let me know!
Keep it up! Believe in yourself because we believe in you!
This is so beautiful! I love all the decorations, you are a great designer. It looks so elegant! I love your blog, so cute.
You show aired tonight announcing your blog. I thought saw this is a great opportunity to give you a shout out.
My husband and I both worked for Alaska Airlines in LAX. We moved to SEA six years ago and hos transfer went through and unfortunately I had to resign. I remember you when you were flying.
I hope you know that for every one negative comment that someone puts out there about you and or been there are 10,000 positive so they are nothing. I wish you both well and I am sure that you too will be very happy!!
I absolutely LOVE what you have done to your space! I, too, have a small space and want to brighten up the space with lighter pieces. What wall color did you choose? I love that everything is neutral, yet each piece still pops and makes a statement!! I LOVE YOU AND BEN TOGETHER! Watched your season and routes for you from the beginning 🙂
Hi Lauren,
My daughter Jenna Giansanti lives and works in Denver. She is an amazing hair dresser. You can check her out on instagram. She specializes in color. You would just love her….Shes my daughter and shes adorable just like you!!!!!! The salon is called Envogue Salon
This is JUST the post I needed to see! We just moved into a pretty darn small space (874 sq ft) on a military base in Japan. (Ie. No choice on the space, floor plan, and we definitely cannot paint.) I’ve been struggling to envision how to go about decorating/arranging our things! Thank you a ton!!
No more garage door headboard haha beautiful new choice
SO pretty Lauren!!! I loved watching about your journey in starting this blog last night on the episode of Ben & Lauren!!! Can’t wait to follow along!!! You have the BEST style!! I know you have the AMAZING Valerie Darling shooting for you but I’m a photographer too so if you ever need outfit photos done, I will happily make that happen!!! It would be a DREAM!!
I just moved into a house with my husband and your interior design is giving me so many ideas! Your house looks beautiful 🙂
Not trying to be too critical, but you want people to follow your blog but yet you aren’t answering any of the questions above!! Not good….
So beautiful and “fresh” looking. I can’t believe Ben let you get pink bedding! My husband would never 😉 Yet it still looks masculine enough for a man. Great work!
I love your style!! You have the cutest house ever! Can’t wait to keep watching Ben and Lauren Happily Ever After
I would love to see the before pictures of your place so we can really see the difference! 🙂
Lol how did Ben take it with you repainting the bar cart? It looks beautiful!
Your kinda stuck up and replacing the head board and bar cart wasn’t cool. I get making it a home for you both, but it sure seems like only your needs are met! 🙄
Lauren!!! What a big difference from Ben’s bachelor pad I. happily ever after!!!! You have such great sense of style in everything!!! Clothes, makeup, interior designing…. I’d have to say, interior design tho…. Is your thing!!! You should look into doing it full time!! Best luck to you in your future endeavors!!! I wish you could give me a personal make up tutorial. Haha. Your makeup is so simple yet so beautiful!! Anyway!! Best of luck in everything!!

Lauren you home is absoultley beautiful and amazing
You have exqusite taste and I think your home gives a warm feel about it. Your decoration is beautiful!
Hi lauren..you are so beautiful☺ im one of your fans here in Philippines😘
Love your style!!! We moved a few months ago and had the entire interior painted. I picked about 5 different grays! The one color is like yours (Stonington gray – Ben Moore). So wish I could do those fabric dining chairs too! But they wouldn’t last long with my 3 year old ☺️
Just beautiful.
Is the quilt from Joss & Main as well? I’ve been looking for MONTHS for a set that I like and I’ve been searching for one similar to this!
I love everything about your home! The colors are perfect! For me, my favorite peice is the chandelier! Gorgeous!
Where did you get the 3 mirrors above your couch in your living room? They are beautiful! Thanks!
You and Ben are too cute! I hope this reality show does not hurt your relationship. Your home looks awesome!
You and Ben are too cute!
I love your new home…it looks amazing!!
Beautiful place! I love that you guys are living in a little conservative home- its real! Love the light colours combined with some pop of dark.
I love the headboard, although I must say I was a fan on the garage door turned headboard!!!
Love your blog!
you did such a gorgeous job decorating! wish I was as skilled as you 🙂 just watched the episode of your show where you were house hunting. We live over in Golden in a huge neighborhood called Tablerock… I feel like the style of homes is similar to what you liked, but cheaper. Check it out!
You are beautiful, but look so unhappy on your television show and in these pictures. Honey, I am a mother and would hate it if my daughter was in the same compromised situation of living with a man out of wedlock. It broke my heart to see you return to living with Ben after he made it clear he did not want to marry you. I am sorry if this hurts you but I feel compelled to implore you to please do things God’s way so that He will bless you both. Please, have some self respect and quit living with Ben. He needs to value you and work for your love, but you are making it too easy for him. I speak to you out of experience, I made the same mistake when I was younger. As a professing Christian woman God did NOT bless my life either while living in this fornication and I am sorry to say if you are His Christian daughter and Ben is His son as you both claim He will not bless you until you forsake this sin.You are a witness to millions who watch your show and young Christian girls are watching you too. God will hold you both accountable for making others stumble by your compromised lifestyle and God will not be mocked. With a broken heart and prayers I share these thoughts and concerns dear one. Please repent and do it God’s way so that you can be a wonderful witness for Jesus’ glory on national television. As my grandmother used to say, “Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?”
So well stated! I agree with you 100%. Although this advice may sound old fashioned and so many couples are living together before marriage, I think there would be much more respect and adoration in Ben’s heart for you if you two lived in different apartments until after your wedding. Also, I believe that divorce rates and broken relationships are so high because too many couples don’t allow God into their lives and homes. Although this is the 21st century, God is an umchangeable God and by shacking up, you both are breaking one of the top 10 commandments. I’m a fan of you and Ben and I hope you won’t be offended by this straight talk. Best wishes to the both of you.
Out with the garden cart and the garage door headboard?? 😂 It’s heartwarming to see that you’re just a normal couple going through normal couple spats and normal couple lovey moments 😊 Love following your journey/lives- thanks for sharing!!
Question!! Did Ben really surprise you or was that scripted? Just curious 😁 Absolutely adore you both btw ❤
I’m dying to know this as well! It would have been an incredible surprise had he done that! BUT the other part of me asks, how could he have curated this perfectly. That takes a special touch
So glad I found out about your amazing blog! I’ve already grown to love it and can’t wait for all your future posts!! Hugs!!
LOVE THIS SO MUCH!
Hi! Like to ask where you got the bar cart? Thanks! And everything looks great!
Do you have a link to this headboard?
Love your style!!! Your house looks great! Can you let us know what the paint color and brand of the grey you used in your living room? Thank you!!
I’m a little shocked about the headboard. I thought it was cute, and obviously had meaning for Ben. If you love someone, you compromise, you don’t try to change them.
That being said, the space definitely looks a lot bigger, but it doesn’t look like a home, because the home is filled with stuff that you collect over time together, not comprised in a short period of time, by stagers. I agree with the commenter who said that it’s mundane.
Hopefully, when you have more space, you’ll buy some heirloom pieces, like some antiques and vintage, to go along with the modern stuff. Quality over quantity always…
Lauren I love your white/brown mirrors in your living room and would like to get them for my home :)))) Where are they from?? I can’t seem to find them on the Ross and main site.
Hey Lauren!! My name is Sarah! I really love your interior decorations! It looks amazing!! My favorite is the dining centerpiece and and the living space . It feels so open and it’s perfect for you and Ben. I am so happy that you and Ben are still together and I really hope that you will ignore what social media and other people say. You two are a really amazing Bachelor couple and you are made to be together. I know that not every couple is perfect and there are issues in every relationship but I really think you two can work things out and get yourselves together before you two say “I do”. As long as you two put God first in your relationship you will develop that platform of building up your relationship you two truly deserve. I will be praying that God will work in your relationship and for you and Ben. May God bless you and Ben on this amazing journey of engagement to planning for your wedding day.
I need that kitchen table. I havnt been able to find it on Joss & Main……help?
Everything looks gorgeous by the way!
Could you please list the link for that bar cart? I loveeee it and can’t find the link on Joss and Main. Thanks 🙂
Hi Lauren!
Where are those poofs from that are in your living room? I live in a small studio apartment in the Highlands and have been looking for something just like those! LOVE them!
I love that quilt and have been looking all over for it! Does anyone know where it’s from?
Yours and Ben’s home is simply beautiful…like the woman’s touch! ha…by the way, I have the exact rug in my office that is in your living room. Nice taste! 😉
Wishing you and Ben a very happy new year and many more to follow.
The redecorating turned out amazing. You did a great job girl. 👍🏼👍🏼 Totally love it 😍
