Although I find myself spending plenty of time online shopping, my favorite way to shop is by exploring local boutiques all over the country. After moving to Denver I was in desperate need of some quality retail therapy and I wanted to explore the new place I was to call home. I stumbled upon Eleanor, nestled in the heart of Historic Downtown Louisville Colorado. Walking into Eleanor was like coming home. Beautiful home goods decorated the handcrafted tables, burning candles filled the air with scents of fig and moss, and modern clothing lined the handmade racks. Each piece at Eleanor is hand selected by the owner, Tracy Hobbs (who by the way is the kindest woman I’ve ever met.) After spending literally three hours in the store, I walked out with bags full of local jewels by Bloom Jewelry and Heidi Kidd, contemporary clothing by Chan Luu, Bella Dahl, Rails and Misa Los Angeles, and beautiful leather bags by Linea Pelle. For fellow Denver residents looking for a go-to boutique or those visiting Denver seeking some Colorado flair visit Eleanor.
