I can’t tell you guys how happy I am that the holidays are right around the corner and the weather here in LA is finally cooling down- hello fabulous sweaters and jackets! It’s also that time of year where I say I’m going to be proactive and finish all my holiday shopping before Thanksgiving but find myself at the mall on Christmas Eve frantically checking things off my list. Just the other day I got my Fab Fit Fun Winter box in the mail and I must say, all the fabulous products inside actually inspired a few gift ideas and helped jumpstart my holiday spirit. I’ve already dug through my box and tried out most of the products and wanted to review some of my faves of the season.
Pointe Studio Aloe Infused Cozy Socks
Anyone who knows me well will attest to the fact that I have a weird obsession with fuzzy socks. First of all, my feet are always cold. Always. So, there is a practical reason for my obsession however I also just love anything that gives me an excuse to lounge on my couch and binge watch Netflix. These socks are better than most of my socks I own because they are even softer AND are aloe-infused meaning soft feet all winter long.
AHAVA Mineral Hand Cream
You’ve probably heard people talk about how your hands are the first to show signs of aging and the extreme winter dryness does not help this statistic. My hands always struggle during the winter months and are left looking dry, dull and tired. AHAVA’s Mineral Hand Cream contains Dead Sea Minerals, witch hazel, and allantoin which all work together to improve the skins moisture level, restoring suppleness and keeping your hands looking youthful all winter long.
Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment
Another product from this FFF box I love is Kate Somerville’s two minute exfoliating treatment. I have really sensitive skin so I’m always hesitant about using any products that exfoliate because some can be too harsh for my complexion. Not only did my skin not overreact to this product but it actually loved it. Packed with natural enzymes like Papaya, Pumpkin, and Pineapple, my skin felt brighter, tighter, and was left glowing without all the usual redness I experience from exfoliating products. Needless to say, this will definitely be a weekly staple in my skincare routine.
Nelson j Beverly Hills Moisture Healing Mask
I should honestly get into the argan oil business because I love this oil and use it all the time. I constantly battle frizz and split ends and this magic potion oil really does help my hair tremendously. Which is why any hair product I see that embraces argan oil I immediately jump on. This mask by Nelson j helps detangle, battles frizz, prevents color from fading, seals split ends and restores the overall shine and silkiness of the hair which naturally leads to more bounce from those dull winter locks.
